I think
new people who play Gunpla don’t know what tools they need to have when they
start to build their gundam. Because of that in this blog, I will write about
the necessary tools.
1.
Pliers
You need to have the pilers when you build gunpla because when you play
gunpla the tool you have to use the most is the pliers. The new people play gundam, maybe, they use their hands to
separate the part because using pliers is tiring and complicated. But if you use your hands to remove the
part maybe the part will be broken ( for example the V-fin is one of the
characteristics of gundam but it
is very small so it's easy to break when you remove it
from the runner by hand). Sometimes,
it can remove part of the “nub”* before you sand it.
* It's the leftovers on the part when you
remove it from the runner
2. Model knife
When you use pliers, you can
remove part of the nub but it still retains some small nubs. When this happens
you must use a model knife to remove it. You can use it to remove nubs or you
can use a model knife when you use water decal. The blade is like a paper knife
but is very sharp so you have to use it carefully.
3.
Sanding
tool for gundam
Even though you have removed the
nubs on the part, there are still marks on the part and it's very uncomfortable
to see so you must have the sanding tool for gundam because when there are
small scratches but you use a model knife or pliers, your model will be
affected. So it is very necessary for you. When you use a sanding tool there
will be dust particles so you should have a small broom to clear the dust and
wear a mask.
4.
Tweezers
When you use a decal the
necessary tool you must use is tweezers because when you use the decal for
small parts it is very hard so you must use tweezers to stick the decal in
small places that cannot be pasted by hand. So using tweezers will not tear the
decal and leave the decal surface. Use tweezers for water decal, make the decal
more sticky and make your Gundam more beautiful.
5.
Gundam
marker
Use a gundam marker to add color
to the gundam's small grooves to create a nice, mechanical armor finish.
Great!
