GN-001 GUNDAM EXIA

 

 

GN-001 Gundam Exia ( Gundam Seven Swords) is the 3rd generation Gundam appears in Mobile Suit Gundam 00. This Gundam is classified as Close Quarters Combat Mobile Suit. It is piloted by Setsuna F. Seiei (Alias of Soran Ibrahim, Gundam Meister of the paramilitary organization Celestial Being)

 Design Base:     GNY-001 Gundam Astraea.

Although Exia bears the model number GN-001, after the model number GN-000 of O Gundam, but this Gundam is developed based on Gundam Astraea (Experimental version of Gundam Exia in the Gundam 00P series).

Characteristics and parameters:

GN-001 Gundam Exia has a height from head to toe is 18.3 meters.

The weight of it is 57.2 metric tons

Armor and Frame Material: E-Carbon (has high defense thanks to the use of advanced materials).

Ability: The centrally mounted GN Drive can generate GN particles, reduce the Gundam's weight, give the gundam flight capabilities, support beam weapons and it can cause electromagnetic interference.

Armaments:

GN Sword:

Mounted on his right forearm, Exia's greatest weapon, is capable of cutting through a mobile suite without issue, and it's covered in a layer of GN particles. When not coated with GN particles, this sword can still be used as normal swords. The blade can be folded back and converted into rifle mode. When you want to use another weapon, the gun can move close to the side of the shield.

GN Beam Sabre:

 Many countries are trying to develop this weapon but Celestial Being is the first to succeed. Stored on shoulder armor, emits a beam blade made of GN particles.

GN Beam Dagger:

Resembling a pair of daggers, the GN beam Dagger emits a smaller beam blade than the GN beam Saber normally used by Setsuna to hurl through distant enemies. Equipped in rear armor.          

GN Long Blade and GN Short Blade:

Exia's two weapons take the longest to craft because they contain a hidden function that allows Exia to destroy GN Drive-equipped machines headed by traitors: the ability to cut through GN Field, guaranteed to defeat the enemy

GN Vulcan:

Equipped in the arm, low firepower but can fire quickly and continuously, can destroy objects without E-Carbon armor.

GN Shield:

Made of E-Carbon, it can expand when needed, it's hard to destroy, and it can absorb the shock of an attack.

Technology:

Over Boost Mode:

 Used by Gundam Exia Repair II, this mode can turn off Exia's GN Drive safety devices using the full power of the GN Drive.

 

 

Optical Camouflage:

A deployable camouflage on the Gundam, when it is stationary it can blend into the environment and make it appear invisible. Use when the Gundam Meister is on a walk or wait until the quest begins.

Trans-Am System:

Hidden in the black box of GN Drives by Aeolia Schenberg, the creator of Celestial Being. When using Trans-am, the GN particles in the Gundam will be released, the entire Gundam will turn red due to the large amount of GN particles covering the machine, causing the machine's ability to triple and will generate afterimage while moving. But the Gundam Meisters often use Trans-am as the last card because the Gundam's performance is reduced due to the use of GN particles and it takes a long time to return to normal.

"Veda-linked Operating System":

Allows quantum computers to support Gundam Meisters and Gundams when the Gundams operating system is linked to the Veda.
