GN-002 GUNDAM DYNAMES

 

GN-002 Gundam Dynames is the 3rd generation Gundam appears in Mobile Suit Gundam 00. This Gundam is classified as Sniper Mobile Suit. It is piloted by Lockon Stratos. (Lockon is the Gundam Meister of the paramilitary organization Celestial Being)

 Design Base:     GNY-002 Gundam Sadalsuud (The forerunner of Gundam Dynames, appearing in Gundam 00P, is piloted by Gundam Meister 874).

Characteristics and parameters:

GN-002 Gundam Dynames has a height from head to toe is 18.2 meters.

The weight of it is 59.1 metric tons

Armor and Frame Material: E-Carbon (has high defense thanks to the use of advanced materials).

Ability: GN-002 Gundam Dynames is a 3rd generation Gundam that is developed based on Gundam GNY-002 Gundam Sadalsuud so Dynames makes a Gundam with powerful sensing capabilities and is used for long range use.

Armaments:

GN Sniper Rifle:

A sniper rifle developed and is the main weapon of the Gundam Dynames, used in sniper mode because the gun's sensor can work with the Gun Camera located in the head of the Mobile Suit. To make up for its inability to fire quickly, this gun is capable of destroying enemy mobile suits while out of range of the enemy's sensing range.

GN Missile:

Gundam Dynames equipped with 24 GN missiles. Fitted at the front and knee armor. When hitting a target, their outer envelope opens, releasing compressed GN particles to destroy the enemy. When fired at the same time, they will have tremendous firepower.

GN Beam Sabre:

This weapon is similar to that of the other Gundams, a melee weapon that can emit a beam blade from the hilt when used. There are 2 bars stored in the back of Dynames' skirt, since this Gundam is a sniper Gundam, the GN Beam Saber can only be used when the enemy rushes in.

GN Beam Pistol:

Two small beam guns are equipped for different missions. There are two guns equipped in the holster on either side of the leg. Each mask is equipped with a small GN Condenser, it does not have the range and power of the GN Sniper Rifle, but it has the ability to fire quickly with sufficient firepower.

GN Shield:

A shield, made from E-carbon, is attached to the shoulder and can be moved freely thanks to its own joints.

GN Full Shield:

Is an optional weapon mounted on both shoulders. This is a variant of the GN Shield, featuring large shields that increase defense. Thanks to its own joint like the GN Shield, the GN Full Shield has very good mobility. It can fold forward and cover half of the Gundam, the other half is used to shoot enemies. Haro can control the GN Full Shield to help Gundam Meister focus on fighting the enemy.

Super Substratospheric Altitude Gun:

Celestial Being's top secret weapon, an extremely large gun with a range that can snipe targets in satellite orbit from the ground. This gun cannot fire quickly because it takes up to 20 seconds to charge. When using this gun, Dynames are equipped with the Tail Unit of the GN-003 Gundam Kyrios in the back to reduce recoil.

Technology:

Sniper Mode:

When in use, the top of Dynames' head is slightly raised and the v-fin slides down to reveal a Gun Camera mounted on the forehead. Precise aiming is possible with a rifle-shaped scope mounted on the roof of the cockpit.

Dock for Haro:

Haro is a small, AI-powered robot used by Celestial Being to provide support and maintenance to the Gundam and ships. And one of those Haro is used to help Lockon and control some of the Gundam's functions in times of need when Lockon focuses on sniping.

Optical Camouflage:

A deployable camouflage on the Gundam, when it is stationary it can blend into the environment and make it appear invisible. Use when the Gundam Meister is on a walk or wait until the quest begins.

Trans-Am System:

Hidden in the black box of GN Drives by Aeolia Schenberg, the creator of Celestial Being. When using Trans-am, the GN particles in the Gundam will be released, the entire Gundam will turn red due to the large amount of GN particles covering the machine, causing the machine's ability to triple and will generate afterimage while moving. But the Gundam Meisters often use Trans-am as the last card because the Gundam's performance is reduced due to the use of GN particles and it takes a long time to return to normal.

"Veda-linked Operating System":

Allows quantum computers to support Gundam Meisters and Gundams when the Gundams operating system is linked to the Veda.
