GN-006 Gundam Cherudim
GN-006 Gundam Cherudim is the 3rd generation Gundam appears in Mobile Suit Gundam 00. This Gundam is
classified as Innovade-use Trial System Mobile Suit. It is piloted by Tieria
Erde. (Tieria Erde is the Gundam Meister of the paramilitary organization
Celestial Being)
Developed from:
GN-002 Gundam Dynames
Variants:
GN-006/SA
Cherudim Gundam SAGA
GN-006GNHW/R
Cherudim Gundam GNHW/R
Characteristics
and parameters:
The weight of it
is 58.9 metric tons
Power plant: GN
Drive
Armor and Frame Material: E-Carbon (has high defense thanks
to the use of advanced materials).
Armaments:
GN Beam Pistol II:
Two GN Beam
Pistol II guns are stored in the backpack of the Gundam Cherudim, which has low
firepower but is capable of rapid fire. It also has an anti-beam coating. And
it is also Cherudim's main close-range weapon.
GN Missile Pod:
This is the same type of missile as the Gundam Dynames. Equipped with four
on the front skirt of the Gundam Cherudimm, 8 missiles. These missiles are
capable of destroying the enemy from the inside out by releasing the entire
internal load of the GN particle when it penetrates the inside of the opponent.
GN Shield Bit:
Similar to Gundam Thrones' GN Fangs. Has a
defense that is far superior to Dynames' GN full shield. Cherudim has nine GN
Shield bits. Remotely controlled by Haro. When shielding the bits can stick
together to form different shapes and sizes, when attacking the bits can attack
individually or form two cannons for greater attack power.
GN Sniper Rifle:
This gun is developed from the Dynames gun and the
performance is greatly increased. When in sniper form the weapon will be fully
expanded. It can be folded, becoming a 3-barreled gun for quick fire. It can
also fire in standard rifle form, suitable for medium and close range. It also
has an additional sensor similar to the one on Gundam 00's GN Sword II. When
not in use, the gun is stowed on the right shoulder.
Technology:
Bit Control System:
GN Shield Bits are
controlled via Haro because pilots will lose focus when they have to control
the bits themselves.
Trans-Am System:
Hidden in the black box
of GN Drives by Aeolia Schenberg, the creator of Celestial Being. When using Trans-am, the GN particles in the
Gundam will be released, the entire Gundam will turn red due to the large
amount of GN particles covering the machine, causing the machine's ability to
triple and will generate afterimage while moving. But the Gundam Meisters often use Trans-am as the last card because the
Gundam's performance is reduced due to the use of GN particles and it takes a
long time to return to normal.
Holoscreen:
Allows quantum computers
to support Gundam Meisters and Gundams when the Gundams operating system is
linked to the Veda.
